Ensure plant hygiene standards and personal hygiene standards of all crew. Responsible for HACCP implementation and a continual improvement process in establishing the standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality system.
Monitoring of Critical Control Points, SOPs, SSOPs, and PRPs.
Working out for cleaning schedules and their implementation along with chief steward.
Promote hygiene (GHP) and quality system (GMP) awareness among the workforce through training and meetings on/off-site.
Conduct in-house audits and take corrective actions for any non-conformance noted and report to concerned.
Provide staff health and fitness approval certificate from health authorities.
Manage and maintain food safety documentation and records.
To coordinate with the engineering department to implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
